In 2005, Defensive Concepts North Carolina (DCNC) was created with the intent of educating its students in the principles of survival mindset, defensive skills with and without firearms, and other defensive tactics. Our staff brings to you skill sets earned through Military and Law Enforcement experience and various training organizations. Our training capabilities encompass nearly all disciplines of personal defense. We are dedicated to bringing quality, affordable self-defense training to the knowledge-seeking student. The material taught by our staff is designed to enable a person to protect themselves and their loved ones in the most effective manner possible during crisis situations.





Chris of Defensive Concepts North Carolina is also a Regional Endorsed Instructor for the Vickers Shooting Method. DCNC offers VSM courses covering the handgun and carbine. Defensive Handgun One Hand Only – 15 April – Carthage, NC

Home Defense/Indoor Tactics – 26-27 May – Carthage, NC

Basic Carbine (VSM course) – 23 June – Carthage, NC
Defensive Carbine Shooting on the Move – 24 June – Carthage NC
