I riped it apart, ran the numbers came back pre ban. Lower is in 90% condition. It had a nail for a detent pin in the rear take down pin. I had to rip it out with some pliers in 3 sections. No buffer detent, so I had to remove the butstock to break upper from lower.

Got the whole thing broke down, brake cleaner and a brush cleaned up the lower. Took a trip to the parts bin to replace any small pins and springs. Slaped the lower back togher and shot a few function rounds through one of my uppers. Lower works great will make a fine build platform.

But I just had to show

If anything, he got a good deal on the lower.

Not sure what's up with that upper, and the take down pin.
I'm assuming the plan is to strip it down and build a quality rifle from it.

Its redneck gunsmithing at is hight. My budy had to drive deep in to NYs hill country to get it from a guy with no teeth. His son said you can shoot squirls from the tree tops with it.

The buffer spring was also anout 5" to short.

It's a lucky thing those bullets never came down in the wrong place.

Thank the Lord that wasn't bubba'd in West Virginia!

I can just feel the 'white trash' oozing out of that build.

Nice buy on a preban reciever though!
My brother saw Deliverance and bought a Bow. I saw Deliverance and bought an AR-15.

How exactly were they aiming when they were shooting squirrels from the treetops with it?
