    JP Enterprises FCG ?

    Hi;

    Does anyone have or know anything about the JP Enterprises fire control group and experience with it?

    Will it work with my RRA 9mm? And with their "speed hammer"?

    Any thoughts/advice/opinions would be appreciated.

    I'm considering purchasing this.

    Thanks,
    Jeff

    JP triggers are great. 9mms are best served with stock triggers.

    Thanks for the reply. I've read that about the 9's/stock triggers, I guess because of the recoil impulse being sharper than the 5.56 or something like that?

    It's just that the 8 lb+ trigger pull was tough to live with, especially when I'm used to a 3 lb 1911 trigger. It felt like a tug of war with each shot.

    I've already swapped out the springs with an ISMI CS set and it's down to about 7 lbs but I'd like to get it down to a little more tolerable level... 5 lbs or so. This is strictly a game gun so I'm looking for any suggestions that anyone may have. It just seemed like the JP is a decent solution w/o sending it off to a gunsmith and waiting for 6 mos for a trigger job.

    I'm open to any suggestions.

    And does anyone have any idea on who does a good job at bolt ramping?

    Thanks,
    Jeff
