That's very helpful, thank you. I replaced the factory barrel in my G17 with a drop-in KKM barrel, but from what you wrote here, and from what Grant posted in that other thread, I shouldn't be surprised that it didn't resolve my issue. I've ordered some taller front sights to see if I can get it zeroed to POA/POI at 25 yards.

I have exact opposite problem with the Trijicon HD on a M&P FS 9mm.
POI is South of POA and farther away/more distance more South.

Check out 10-8 performance. They have various front sights for glock in different heights and widths to regulate POI.
