But I have a question....if I'm zeroing my 16" using irons, I'm assuming I would use one of the targets from the second set of targets(say the 50/200)..........but if I'm zeroing the same rifle but using the Aimpoint, I would use the 50/200 target from the last set??

You could use any of the targets for the zero you want. The difference between them is the spacing for the adjustment reference grid. So, for a 16" carbine, you want to use the carbine targets as the adjustment references are calibrated for the shorter sight radius of the carbine. If you're using an aimpoint, the optic target will more accurately get you zeroed as the grid is set for 1/2 MOA click adjustments (the same that an aimpoint uses).
