I wonder how bad the accuracy the light weight barrel on the .308 will be. I didn't find the weight of my 16" OBR cumbersome at all. I took it through a 3 day class and it didn't bother me to a point where I missed my 700.

Over on Arf its been stated the barrel is the same just stayed on the lathe
a bit longer...

For me between football,hard landings,SE Asia,a couple of motorcycle crashes,and being just over 60....
the "Predator" looks to be the rifle I've been hoping for.....

Thanks for the pics. Was there any word from LaRue about a possible SBR 7.62 OBR? Or at least a shorter handguard on the 16" barreled OBR? Something like a 9-10" handguard would be ideal. I don't really need a foot of handguard on my rifle.

I was also hoping LaRue was going to have a QD mount for the Trijicon RMR red-dot sights at SHOT '11.

Is that a new T1 mount?

Looks really tall to me. I wonder if it was designed for a specific purpose or application? For normal AR use, I like the current T1 mount better.

Holy $%!# !!! I see a Knight's Armament URX III! I think those were shown at Modern Day Marine, but I never saw any decent pictures.

Chen, any more pics of the FDE painted rifle with URX III? (partially railed at 3,6 & 9 o'clock)
