ACOG TA11 and A2 stock

I run 16" flattop upper with A2 stock and TA11J-308 on LT100 QD mount.

Question, where does one mount the ACOG? I got it all the way to the rear, next to the last notch, so it's sticking way past the charging handle. Even with 2.4" of ER, I found there was no way to accommodate the rear sight. Where I got seems to be the most logical position, prone or not. It feels right to me. Otherwise the view is not right.

Looking at pics, I wonder why almost everyone else mounts it a little further, but then nobody seems to love the A2 stock anymore. I would love to see pics of TA11 with A2 stock.

You just answered your own questions, unless there is a reason, switch to a collapsible stock.

What's the most durable collapsible stock?

I realized I mounted the TA11 all wrong, I moved it forward to align with the CH and get a much cleaner sight picture.
