A Tienanmen Square survivors thoughts on gun control.

He does mention AK-47's, even throws in a good joke regarding them. I think it is definitely something everyone should see.

    1. That guy should be making that same speech before Congress.

    2. This guy is a better American than many who were born here.

    3. Damn shame he had to suffer such hardships to understand the true nature of rights and freedom.

Perhaps we need an exchange program where we trade US citizens who want to ban guns for for Chinese citizens who wish to be free.

As a first generation American, it never ceases to amaze me how Americans readily give up their freedoms.

Been spreading this one around all day. Took place at the State House Boston, which I would have attended if i were in the US when it took place recently.

THE best thing any of us can do to help him, thus helping ourselves, is get that vid under the nose of as many people as you can. I rarely post such things on my face book page, or do mail outs, etc, but I'm making an exception for this one.

This really should be in GD for greater viewing.

If a mod would move this thread, that would be great. Obviously, I could not start it in GD, but wanted to bring it to the forum's attention.

Escapee from China here, glad to see at least one more Chinese person refuse to drink the statist kool-aid.

An interesting sidenote from 1989 is that the first local Beijing garrison units shipped in by the politburo to quell the unrest refused to use violence against the civilians because they were all Beijing locals. The politburo had to ship in army units from remote provinces to do the dirty work.

I hope the same can be said about local LEO/army who would refuse to obey immoral orders, but given what happened at Katrina, I am not entirely optimistic.
