Vortex 3X magnifier...need help

Wanting a magnifier for my EoTexh XPS2 with mount (provides lower 1/3rd CE). Will the Vortex 3X Magnifier work with their swing mount? Or will I need to buy let's say the ADM 1/3 QD Swing mount?
Any advice on getting tue proper setup i.e. Proper Co-witness and alignment of magnifier and EoTech would be greatly appreciated.


Also, any input on quality of the optic would be appreciated too. I know most will tell me to pony up the dough and buy the EoTech Mag w/mount...but if the glass is good and the mount is good...I'd rather buy another $250+ in ammo

Pony up and get the Eotech 3x magnifier. Mine came on a samson quick flip mount. When the magnifier is flipped to the side while shooting your brass will be hitting it as it ejects. You want something that was built to handle that.
