Use anti-seize lube when installing barrel?

I have a tub of some sort of high temp moly grease that was bought for M242 chain guns and not used for some reason (so I inherited it somehow) -- it works well with M16FOW barrel installs.

the grease you speak of (we called it GMD) is pretty easy to get ahold of in mech units, never in short supply, so it's not a surprise that the can wasn't used. Just make sure you wear gloves when applying it-apparently there's a carcinogen in it somewhere...

GMD - Grease, Molybdenum Disulfide

It is used on the M242 and the USGI stuff was carsonagenic as of the 90's. I don't know if they have changed the formula.
