Question about AR-308 gas blocks

So as I'm going about putting together a build list for an AR-308 upper, I got to thinking about which gas blocks were available to me. With the .308, will it require a .308 specific gas block or will any normal gas block do?

I don't believe that a .308 specific gas block is required, just the appropriate diameter gas block to fit on the barrel. GA Precision is using the following Badger Ordnance product on a couple of AR-10s they're building for me. http://www.badgerordnance.com/produc...?id=handguards (look towards the bottom of the page).

John Noveske offers the following on his web site for AR-10s http://www.noveskerifleworks.com/cgi...lay.cgi?cat=10 (look towards the bottom of the page).
