What makes the EXOSHIELD so great for NV use? Well, they were designed by Revision in conjunction with US Special Operations Forces as an extreme low-profile ballistic goggle that would allow the operator to bring the NVG all the way back to the eye. Usually, goggles and shooting glasses cause the NVG to have to stand off the face quite a bit. But, the EXOSHIELD sits so flush to the face, the goggle can be brought back to the proper placement. They also feature Revision's new proprietary anti-fog lens coating. This coating really works! If anyone knows it, I do. My nose has been broken twice in the line of duty. As such, I have a big bump on either side of the bridge of my nose. This creates two air channels that funnel right up under my goggles or glasses and fog the hell out of anything I wear. But, the new Revision lens coating stops this from happening, even with my ugly mug.
