I currently manage a lgs, and yesterday a guy walks in with a Taurus PT111 with the following problem:



Yep, somehow this mental midget managed to get a live round chambered backwards into the barrel. When asked how it happened he proceeded to tell us an outlandish story of how he was firing the gun and the round somehow came flying out of the magazine before it could chamber, but miraculously landed back in the gun - and backwards - before the slide could close! I swear, you can't make this stuff up.

I used some penetrating oil that has freon mixed in with it called Freeze Your Nuts to get it out. I sprayed it down the barrel until there was ice on the outside, and then I drove it out with a wooden dowel rod.
