Glock 21

Larry,

Would you mind giving your thoughts on the Glock 21. I've used a Glock 21 in one of your classes and I heard you mention reliability issues when used with a rail light. Can you please give some more detail on that and does the Glock 20 in 10mm have the same problem?

Thank you.

The Glock 22 is the model that has rail mounted light reliability issues - I am not aware of the G21 having issues with it also

The newer G21's seem to be okay- the older ones had parts breakage issues and I think that scared a lot of people away from the gun; in addition it is a fairly bulky pistol

Not my first choice in 45 ACP to be sure

Parts Breakage

Sir,
Can you detail the parts that were suspect and prone to breakage?

As I recall it was the extractor - when I was in the military we had 6 G21 'test' guns in the arms room and all of them had broken extractors when I inquired about the test fire proceedings
