Does M4C even have a paid membership, I don't remember seeing anything about it.

Hi from far northern California.... experienced shooter but relatively new to the AR-15 platform.

I'm working on a first AR build, BCM 16" upper is on the way and busily planning what should follow. Thanks to everyone who has posted so much valuable information here, sure has made it a lot easier to identify the better quality merchandise from among all the marketing hype.

Hello. I have been reading on here for about a week and really like this forum. I am about to get back into AR scene. I had a Colt Match/Target 10 yrs ago and sold it like an idiot. I am about to get me a new Colt LE6920MP. Trying to decide on FDE or black.

Hey all. Joined a while back but have mainly been lurking and learning in the meantime. Picked up a Colt 6920CA about 7 months ago and preparing to head to my first training course in a couple of months.

For now keeping it simple and learning as I go along.

Hi Rooster, I got the Colt LE6920Mp about a month ago in FDE and like it very much. Everyone checks it out because it is different than black. The best thing about it is that it shoots as good as it looks. Good luck ans shoot straight.

Intro of self

So I notice there's not a "new guy says hi" page, but this seems closest.

Just wanted to say hi - lurked for maybe a year and finally decided to say hi. Currently in the medical field with the military, with a heavy civilian EMS background.

Not a hard core gun user, but not quite a newb either. I picked up my first rifle w/ cub scouts. Did some training through the military and some of my dad's rifles. I shoot maybe once monthly.

Yes, I'm on TOS, but I'll keep my signal:noise down. Pleased to be here!

Will try and post pics of my rifle, but in the meantime:
S&W M&P15 OR
Eotech 2-0 sight
Some local company 1-point/2-point sling

That's it - pretty basic set up!

I am not new to guns by any means. Have a safe full of them, have a CCW, and carry daily, but did not have an AR. While searching the net to find the best possible firearm I came across this forum. After reading this forum I pulled the trigger and bought a Colt SP6920mp. Damn fine weapon if you ask me.This is a great place to learn anything about a AR. Great job folks. Got so much info on here, hell I don't even know what to post about.

Talking New Member

After lurking and reading alot, thought I'd say hi. Not new to shooting but have been out of the game for a long time. Have not been shooting regularly since the early 80's. I used to do alot of NRA 50 ft shooting as well as long range matches. Shot regular combat pistol courses and had a blast with that (4" Colt Trooper at the time) and would have the 1911 guys clean my clock! Joined the Army and shot expert with my M16A1 and iron sights, wow things have changed. I just recently decided to get back into shooting when my boy joined the Army in January. Bought an M4 and scope, then discovered this site. After reading it looks like I should have read first and bought after :-) There is an incredible array of information and knowledge here! Not really prepping for zombies or doomsday scenarios, but you have to wonder how things may progress after several wars, the economy, etc. So will ease myself back into shooting slowly and learn as I go. I feel a little bit like I've been under a rock for awhile, not even realizing that 30 round mags were illegal in California now. And firearms/ammo prices, wow not what I remember. Wait, I think I have been under a rock ! Anyway, nice to be here, I will keep reading and catching up on things.
