Are you kidding me? I lived in both Kailua and Hilo (At different times) between 2007 and last year. I fucking hate Oahu. I fucking love the Big Island.

My thoughts on Oahu

-I'm not an island boy. I'm 6'4" and white. (Tan, but still) Most chicks didn't even believe me when I said I lived there.

-I did nail quite a few tourists, most were European (Irish...wow) and some Australian (even more wow) but considering the planes land "every day", there are also 60,000 soldiers, airmen, sailors, and Marines out with the same exact mission every night. They royally fuck it up.

-Fuck you locals and all the games you play with haoles. I got along great with 50%, and the other 50% are so stuck up and fucktarded I wish I could have rolled them down kokohead like a bowling ball.

-Concealed Carry? Honolulu PD every time I buy a firearm? Once a year renewal of gun permits? 2 week waiting periods for handguns? Nah.

I'll give you a few things. Yeah, absolutely. I could be a janitor and still score pussy in Oahu, but its a hell of alot easier if you've got a sweet crib. I was living off Oneawa St in a nice place when I was in Kailua but the hard part is always getting the girls THERE. Girls at Senor Frogs don't wanna go for a 45 minute car ride across the island at 3am just to get drilled and told to take the bus the next day.

Hilo. Thats a bit different. The girls on the big island are more down to earth and chill, and I ran threw quite a few, from the raunchiest trashiest girls in Puna to some beautiful gorgeous girls out by BJ Penn's gym. But my best bet at scoring females anywhere in the islands? UH at Hilo. GOOD GOD. You ever been? Just stroll through one day if you're on the big island... just glance. My knees were weak by the time I left. And everyone is so friendly...

sadly I do think their are times when the target is you are a tourist which of course is different than living in a area but also one that should be paid attention to !!!!


just like other parts of the world I have to say from traveling a lot in my life I worry more when I am a tourist as I am more a target then when around my home area I live !!!!

and really tourists no matter how much you think you can fit in often do not fit in !!! and that is the target they are looking for

here for example I know that metro center mall area is a pit of crap !!! so I avoid it easy to do
tourist places sadly the bad guys come to those places !!! they dont stay in the bad zones that you can avoid they come to the tourist zones seeking you out !!!

I know when I lived in Honduras I had my own clothes I brought but also bought local clothes shoes etc. since the islanders look like me for the most part it helps a bit when I went to ceiba I would get way less looks than when I wore US clothes
going to town a bit dirty smelly and being their a few times knowing or walking with a solid sense of where I was going after a few visits I noticed I never got bugged by the little pan handle kids anymore etc..

living in a place for a year or so though is more than a tourist ? but again I do think I worry more when I traveled than I ever do just out and about

Situational awareness. Keep your head on a swivel and dont be afraid to leave if you sense you're out of place or the mood is changing.

Another pretty good rule of thumb is just to keep yourself out of those types of situations. If you dont want to do that, good luck.....

Easy guys - there really is a point buried under the noise here: You assume a certain amount of increased risk for physical violence when in your 20s in pursuit of poon. People manage that risk in different ways. What's acceptable risk for a 22-year-old 11B just coming off active duty is quite different than what an older guy might find acceptable - but I can tell who has walked the walk and who's still bitter because they couldn't here

That being said - I rushed a veteran-heavy fraternity my sophomore year and it was all good after that. The way we handled the party scene was if we were hitting the bars, the DD in my circle of friends was also the designated shooter (we can carry guns in a bar here legally) and the drinkers would leave their guns at the house. I don't know your situation, Euro, but it would behoove you to find some fellow vets/shooters to hang around with if you can so you can do the same.

It always worked out well for us. In the incident I referred to above, an urban yute crashed a closed party I was attending and wound up pulling a Jennings .25 on me. I took it away from him and my big brother (who is a HUGE motherfucker, and is now a detective in the town we went to college in) threw Homie Da Clown in a full nelson and kicked his skinny ass down a flight of stairs. It was a happier ending than Euro's story - said yute wound up getting arrested for criminal recklessness with a firearm and got himself a D felony.

Anyway. Final thought on the poon subject - Euro, it's better to regret the ones you banged than the ones you didn't. jklaughrey means well, but go get the stupid out of your system, son...you'll be a lot less tempted later in life by some strange when you shouldn't be.
