It doesn't come out too good...?
Are you saying the retention is stronger? If so, that's not really a problem

As it stands there is no blue gun for the gen 2 or 2014 model P07's so most garage based kydex makers are using the older duty mold.
When it comes to holsters...never assume, always ask first.
There shouldnt be any fitment problems between the two models unless the mold in the first place was poorly made.
You are a genuine toolbag if you have your EDC "loadout" in your signature line...
I have a KT Mech Gunfighter (.060 material) and a gen 2 P-07. The only problem I have is that the front serrations scrape a little plastic off the inside of the holster every now and then.
Yea, emailed them and they have offered to take to let me send it back on their dime to tweak it or give me a full refund. Very fast responce to my email and customer service seems to be really good.

Tell me this, where are you guys finding spare mags for these pistols?
I do think using the flatter P09 nine trigger in the Gen 2 P07 is a great thing.
Here are the pics I promised.
view from the top, duty model on the left, you can see the angles on the slide of the duty model are much sharper.

Another view from the top, again duty model on the left. In this pic you can really see the difference in the slide that was causing the fit issue with my holster.

In this pic the gen two is on the bottom, hopefully in this pic you can see the three ridges in the magwell of the gen two. The duty model magwell is totally smooth inside.

This pic shows the difference in the beavertail, duty model on the left. The softer angles on the slide and shorter beavertail are supposed to make it more comfortable for concealed carry.
