Want to buy an AR 15

I've had a chance to handle both a colt 6920 and a armalite ar. Both weapons fit and form were really nice. The colt retails for $1100 with magpul furniture sling ready out of the box. The Armalite $699.00 no rear sight Just a plain Jane. I'm leaning more towards the colt because that is what I carried and never let me down. Can you guys give me a comparison of the two? I know the colt is milspec but that doesn't say much. I don't plan to Hang alot of junk off it. A scope and a tactical light will suit me fine.

There's plenty of Colt vs XXXX discussions on this forum. Do a search.

Also, not sure where you're seeing $1100 Magpul Colts but that's insane.

You should have your balls removed for posting such stupidity. This is not the other site, use the search option.

This type unprofessional post is detrimental in helping us get the word out to the new guys.

Johnnyb, search around the forum to see what the opinions are about, not only the brands you're interested in, but other as well. That should give you enough information to ask more specific questions.

There is a lot of information concerning the options. Right now it's a buyers market and you can get whatever you want. One good option is to get the Colt OEM model from someone like GandR Tactical, and then add the handguard, stock and rear sight.

This should bring you in around 875.00 or so. Much cheaper than what you are looking at now.
