Some people think so. Ptfe doesn't break down until over 400f, at least, so it should be fine for normal use. I don't think ar bolts get that hot. Iirc it's 120f or so after a full auto 30rd mag.
I just used slip2000ewl on my pistol silencer, I'll report back on cleaning, hopefully tomorrow.
WeaponShield outperforms SLIP 2000.

It outperforms it on that one machine, is all that proves. FP10 also performs similar to Weaponshield on that machine. Yet compared to G96, in laboratory testing on identical pistols over thousands of cycles, the G96 prevented wear better. Things that make you go "hmmmm...does this REALLY translate?"
