Always wanted one for the longest time, and will be picking one up this week. if you had one would you keep it stock or convert to a G36? or other type configuration.

Convert.
Would love to have it in the factory grey finish though, but black would be fine (original)
Money not being an object, I would convert mine. It is they grey version.

Had one, converted to a G36k. Got sick of the excessive LOP which made irons difficult to use. Hated that it folded in a way that blocked the ejection port. Finally sold it, and I'm a pretty die hard HK junkie.
If we were given a true G36 semi (will never happen), I'd think about buying one.

I had the original grey version, and started the G36 conversion. This was when they first came out. I got bored of it, and didn't like the clunky feel of the rifle, and sold it and bought some AR's. Never looked back.
I've been wanting one for awhile, I'd do the mag conversion and leave the rest of the funkyness alone.

Actually with a decent scope and a threaded barrel with suppressor it might make a good mid range rifle.
