I have not made one to test but also working on a tool to torque a 3 lug under a handguard.

I did take the Scorpion out to the range with some friends on Saturday. His kids had a fun time with it, but were very eager to know when the SBR stamp and can would be ready.

When I told them "Christmas - of 2017" their poor faces fell.

I've got a 9mm AR carbine that takes Glock mags, and they cannot wait to race each other on fall plate racks. The 12-year-old boy is pretty good, but his 11-year-old sister is a very gifted shooter. We are coaching her a lot, and have told her about the AMU.

She asked her mom if she could have a Scorpion like the one Mr Serious has for her birthday - hehehehe.

By my count you are 922r compliant with US made magazines (body, baseplate, and follower brings it to 6). Correct?

This seems like the best (perhaps only) way to go since CZ does not seem to be producing the 922r kits.

Yes. I think I actually have more than necessary. Just so you know, CZ may not be selling the kits anymore, but I believe all of the same items can be bought individually from their site.

I recently just changed the handguard to HBi Aluminum version. I am very happy with the change, sans the fact that it uses M-Lok and I can't use my extended aluminum charging handle due to Al on Al.
