You still shooting the 77gr XBR load?
What brass and powder are you using Euro? (Sorry, I don't feel like sifting through 20+ pages at this point).
I mostly reload for my .308, but am thinking about reloading some precision .223 for kicks

I use loads discussed in that thread. IMR 8208 XBR and Lake City brass (with a lot of prep).
The TMKs really allow you to buck the wind and get more supersonic range from the 5.56
Cool thanks man

I took this rifle to CORE Shooting Solution's Precision Rifle Class with some buddies. They laughed at me bringing a .223 to a range that goes out to 1,400 yards. Cold bore shots out to 800 yards on full size IPSCs were easy (despite wind and rain and fog). The 940 yard IPSC was sporting. It took four hits to get on target.
The best part of the course was the moving targets (a full size IPSC at 600 yards moving at 2.5mph) and the transitions from a 300yd static target to a 600yd mover and back and forth and back and forth in the wind with rain blowing on your face...
Also, this happened....at 700 yards.

Why do the loudest do the least?
Nice work!

Took that same class at CORE about 2 years ago (looks like they opened up >1k, time for a refresher...)), shoothing from that same container, dude next to me with a 223 (bolt) gun using ‘one of the’ instructors handloads kept up pretty good with the 6.5 cm crowd.
Many lessons learned there...like, usually its the indian not the arrow, and, never underestimate ones own ability in the face of intimidation. Because staring down 1k is nothing if not intimidating. But with the right tools its surprisingly do-able.
Nothing but praise for CORE. Best kept secret out there.
Great thread Euro, thanks!
