With a RDS or a scope I just keep both eyes open - works fine off either shoulder; for shotguns and rifles with open sights I have to close my left eye when shooting off the right shoulder; with the pistol just keep both eyes open and you will naturally align the pistol below the master eye.
If you have trouble getting a sight picture on the pistol with both eyes open you can put a piece of opaque cellophane tape on the lens of your shooting glasses, over the non dominant eye. That makes the view out of that eye blurred enough that you should sharply focus out of the other eye. After a while you may be able to shoot with both lenses clear.
Being able to close either eye independent of the other is pretty important for using cover. As an example, you don't want to expose your whole head to get your right eye clear on a right hand corner.

Patriotism means to stand by the country. It does not mean to stand by the President... - Theodore Roosevelt, Lincoln and Free Speech, Metropolitan Magazine, Volume 47, Number 6, May 1918.
Every Communist must grasp the truth. Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun. Our principle is that the Party commands the gun, and the gun must never be allowed to command the Party Mao Zedong, 6 November, 1938 - speech to the Communist Patry of China's sixth Central Committee
