Bad Access troubles started last night, at least with Safari

Yesterday evening it started that when I come back to M4C and refresh the page I get something like the below. If I go in and delete the bbforum_view cookie I can get back in again. But after a short while it starts happening again. I did not updates on my machine in a few weeks and this just started on the evening of Nov 2 for me and only on M4C (other forums that use the same SW as best as I can tell don't do it)

It appears maybe some SW was upgraded on M4C? Maybe apache? And the cookies are getting appended to one another?

MBP, OS X 10.6.1, Safari 4.0.3

my MBP, which is used as a desktop, is having the issue suddenly. It has been running for 25 days and had no updates and was working fine with M4C until last night. It has Safari 4.0.3 and OS X 10.5.8 (some software I use has not been qualified for SL/10.6.1 yet).

My MacBook however is 10.6.1 and Safari 4.0.3 and has not exhibited the problem yet.

I will see if I can wind down some stuff I have running in Safari on the problem machine and restart Safari on that machine and see what happens.

Thanks. The Apple Discussion one had the most interesting info on it because it leads me to believe a bug in Safari is causing this -- when Safari is running for a billion years without restarting... Out of all the Macs I use/have access to the only one with the problem is the one I use as a desktop, only restart when I have to, and leave Safari running for weeks...

For whatever reason Safari was acting odd for me too started a while back though (MBP 2.4G OS X 10.5.8). I started using FF again and its been fine. Safari is running okay on my IMac at the office. I didn't bother to check for any Safari updates I might have missed so maybe check that...
