Looking to learn AR basics Hands-On (Spring, Tx)

I'm interested in getting into the AR club. I've shot a couple models a few times but not much more. I'd like to learn how to take apart, inspect and understand the internals. Granted there are a lot of books, mags and online articles, but there's nothing quite like hands on experience.

I live in Spring, Texas near Spring Guns and Ammo. I would love to meet a fellow firearms enthusiast that has an AR and can show me the basics of the AR.
