It is very simple. I modified one of the Delrin blocks used to drive out the AR15/M16 triple frame pins and have used it on multiple occasions to remove and re-install 55x gas blocks. You just need the proper roll pin male and female punches. I also soak the roll pins in oil overnight prior to removal, then lube them up really well prior to installation. Using a slightly undersized steel dowel or roll pin punch as a guide to hold the gas block in proper orientation on the barrel works best, otherwise you will likely have the gas block rotate on you and will gouge the roll pin recesses cut into the barrel trying to install the gas block.
