    Kentucky Carbine Course???

Hi I'm just about done building my first AR and now I'm trying to find a local intro carbine course to attend in KY. Doing a bit of searching so far RWI Tactical is the only on going course I could find. If anyone knows of anymore courses in the area that would be great.

I'm interested in hearing about the experiences and opinion yal have of RWI and/or any other course that you have attended in KY. I'm a bit south of Lexington so the closer the better but I don't mind driving a bit for a quality class.

    Thanks,
    BGG

http://www.superiorfirearmsllc.com/ has a very good reputation for gunsmithing & training classes and is based out of Louisville, KY. I'd suggest giving them a call.

The next VSM carbine class run by the Superior Firearms cadre is slated for 26 June. This is without a doubt some of the finest training available in the area (usually conducted at Knob Creek).

    Highly recommended!

I can vouch for RWI. I took their level 1 course earlier this year. Level two this weekend that I unfortunately can't make it to.

I hear okay things about RWI. From most of the students that have been to their class, they tell me it's like a group of army buddies getting together to teach people. This isn't just from one person, but from SEVERAL.

If I were looking to take a class in KY, hands down I would go to Vickers Shooting Method instructor in Louisville, Superior Firearms LLC.

or you can join our Kentucky Regional Training Group

Definitely not going to be able to make a June 26 course (offspring's birthday), but that Hackathorn class in mid-July looks interesting. Nothing else to do while OFP from my wife for the summer. Well, other than work, drink, and workout, anyway.
