Yes, assuming of course same barrel. If you drop a 24" Hbar you might have to rezero.

I absolutely believe you guys but I would like to see if anyone has tested this.

So nice to be asking questions on here! I rarely get to do that.

Follow-up silly question: What sort of light and/or light switching would a one use? I assume that an X300 or traditional tail-cap Scout/E-series/6P/G2 would not work, except through a rat tail, correct?

Yeah, I don't think anyone would have thumbs long enough to reach it otherwise. I personally use a TLR1 and I run the toggle with my trigger finger. Not ideal, but I typically don't use my AUG for hunting bad guys anyway.

I haven't noticed any changes of impact after removing the barrel for cleaning. Jason Falla also did not notice a problem in the thread linked above.

Because we are tired of spending several hundred dollars on these for parts that they should have came with from the factory in the first place, even if it meant spending more up front for the base gun.

Every single rifle brought to the commercial US market since the AWB died has been ****ed up in some way.

    ACR
    SCAR
    SIG556
    HK416/MR556
    Beryl
    XCR

All ****ed. Skimped on quality parts, no factory SBR options, etc. Every one of these requires several hundred, if not thousands to get them in the proper configuration that they should have been from the start.

I will admit the AUG is the least ****ed as it can be restored to Austrian configuration rather easily.

His thread regarding the Australian F88 has both relevant and irrelevant information regarding comparison to the Steyr A3.

As a write up of his time with the F88, it is great info. But to rely on that thread as a deciding factor to purchasing a new Steyr A3 would be a folly.
