Only real black mark I have on 'em so far--and a VERY minor one at that--is that they couldn't give me an estimate on when they'd be able to deliver a batch of Foliage Green Keymod covers or if they'd discontinued 'em, so after several months of backorder I had the supplier I was buying through switch to black and zapped 'em with Rustoleum OD. Just a minor thing, and in the end it was a better match to the furniture on the rifle anyway, so it worked out in the end.

Well, that and the fact that they *only* offer the C8SFW URG with one specific FH, not even a "bare muzzle" option... but again, minor penny-ante stuff.

I have bought a couple items from them. Products are great. Fast shipping as well.

Rifles are worthy of your money. Only issues I have ever had with any of their product is deformation of keymod rails under very hard use, and their keymod stubby grips coming loose under normal use despite the use of loctite.

As a buyer of Two Stripped Uppers, Two PKMRS, one Parts kit; I can say that I have yet to experience any true issues or defects. Very impressed with the quality. I now have my brother foaming at the mouth for a PKMR now after he shot mine the other day.

All I'm adding to this thread is additional noise.

I've been happy with everything BCM I've purchased - blem/demo stripped uppers, buffers, A5 extensions, charging handles, etc. And they ship fast.

I generally build my own uppers, I have purchased one upper from them, M4, discounted on sale. I put it on a lower I built for my son, he is happy with it.

I had an accuracy issue with one of their SS410 barrels. CS tried to blame me and then eventually took it back and replaced it. Emailed a year or so later with some questions as I wanted to give a second chance, CS was negative experience that time as well. Fast forward 6 months and I ordered some small parts. They cancelled my order and essentially said since I wasn’t happy with my last product I should shop elsewhere. I was pretty shocked and when I searched I was surprised to see that is their MO and have done it a bunch.

While I understand, maybe it was the correspondence? Did you remain professional? Not to blame you as the customer, but I could see companies not wanting to interact if there was any yelling, threatening, etc.

Now, if you didn't do that, that's just stupid of them. That would be like throwing a Food Critic's thinking in their face for not liking a Porterhouse because it wasn't as seasoned as it should be, and when they come back a year later to see if anything is changed, they just flat out refuse to sell them even a salad.

Just silly if that's the case. But, they make enough money, so what do they care; in the long run it's cheaper to not have "problem customers" and waste man hours corresponding.

I was slightly put off over their response to my inquiry over a minor issue with one of their barrels, I found it dismissive. However in hindsight I don't think I adequately explained the rationale behind my complaint at the time, and I guess it was kind of a subjective problem in the first place.
Though not completely thrilled with that outcome I continued to buy from them

Some years later when I legitimately experienced a true failure with one of their products they were very responsive and went above and beyond what I would have expected of them given the circumstances.

They are one of my go-to sources for parts. Basically everything I can get from BCM for my builds, I do. Pretty much the only reason I go elsewhere is if I need something they don't sell.

    This.

I have one BCM upper that is ~9 years old and works great. I also have a variety of other BCM parts in use on other rifles, mostly ones I built from parts. BCM is and remains a solid, quality maker. 10+ years ago their quality and innovation was rare (though not unique) in a sea of mostly DPMS and Bushhamster type rifles. Now there are a lot more quality options, as well as a lot more junk options. BCM has held steady and has innovated on several components.

All that said, if I could only have one for life, I'd go with an LMT.
