How would one tell what generation his MWS is?

I just bought mine 3 days ago so I am no expert. But I think one way to tell is a cut out on the upper behind the shell deflector. And is the BCG a different color? I think the early one had milled uppers as opposed to forged. Some one else will chime in

Is there a serious accuracy difference between the 16" SS and CL barrels?

I plan on shooting out to 600 yards and throwing a 762SD on it.

You should have no issues with 16" CL. I shot out to 900 yards this past weekend with FGMM 175 gr GM308M2.
Targets were silhouettes with 50% of my shots hitting steel. Hardly any misses within 600 yards.

What is the twist rate? 1/10?

There are so many different variants and I'm not up to date on .308 ARs like I am with 5.56. Dropping $5,000 on a rifle setup makes me want to do it correctly the first time.
