Thanks.
The old weaponlights used to come with the strap, and the front had a small pad to prevent the knuckle slap that a lot of people complain about now. I haven't incorporated the pad, but I like having the strap.

I had to do a little surgery, it's a common plastic rail piece, I disassembled the fore end grip and relieved a little material from the inside so the screw heads would clear the actual slide part that slides over the mag tube.
the shell carrier is a "take off" from a side saddle carrier that normally mounts to the receiver. I just used normal wood screws to mount it to the stock.
I'm not too sold on the shell carrier yet, it does present some issues when shooting left handed, more work is in the future.

Was out shooting this Rem 870 MCS yesterday. Its configured with the 14" bbl, modified Rem choke, Speedfeed stock, +2 extension (3+2+1) The MCS has a shorter tube that only holds 3 rounds and when used with the 10" cyl bore is flush with the mag tube.
Here's my 1948 dated Browning A5 cut down to 20" cyl bore, stock shorted and fiber optic sights.
My other shotguns. Retired SAPD 870 Wingmaster Magnum with 20" cyl bore rifle sights and choate extension, my son's NEF .410 Pardner and 20" 870 youth. My dad gave me that 870 just before he passed.
