Has anyone gotten their hands on the new SIONICS 18 inch barrel? Looking at barrels for an SPR-ish build and wanted to get relative accuracy info vs BCM/Centurion/etc...

Just ordered a 11.5 RGP and upper to go with a MK3 10' I had stashed from a sale and looking to build a set of uppers SBR/SPR for range days.

Excellent. If I can remove it I will. I have a heat gun and can apply a little heat if needed, but I will give them a call before I try anything.

    $949, correct? That's a hell of a deal.

Looks awesome. You guys machine and make the rail or is it made to your specs by someone? How is the rigidity of the rail?

Quality, reliability, real world pricing, superb customer service, and no frivolous fashion nonsense, if anyone wants to build a sterling reputation, take a page from Sionics' playbook.

I have bought uppers, barrels and components from Sionics for our store and our own use, I've always come away impressed with the quality that would have, and should have cost us a lot more.

Got my complete upper today and I'm really impressed. Dropped Sionics a line about getting the barrel nut for the DD rail off. I clamped it down, tried to get it off, and ended up twisting/torquing the DD wrench! This thing is on there!

I like that. Nice and clean, that would work really well in the front seat rack on a patrol car.

(I know, I know, that's why we called it that...)

Good-looking carbine, I think you gents will sell a a lot of those.

Update on the sionics lpk I bought: assembly no issues and parts seem to be in spec (big suprise, I know-lol). Enhanced trigger out of the box feels very similar to my very well worn milspec trigger, but much less takeup, and a little lighter, but enough to be noticable. Exactly what I was after, definately falls into the hard use enhanced category (not a competition trigger).

Patrol 3E is basically the Patrol 3 "Essential". Everything you need, nothing you don't.
