Well, i havent looked at an entreprise fal in awhile, but a friend has one and likes it, hes had it for almost 20yrs now.
That was back when they were just starting to build and sell rifles, before that they sold parts kits and made receivers.
Back then, i built a handful of rifles off their receivers, and they all ran fine, everything went together fine. They were cheaper than dsa, the other us receiver maker. There was coonan arms, but they had pretty much disappeared. Hesse, or vulcan arms were crap, the wilson aluminum was just a grenade disguised as a rifle.
He got one of the first guns they built, and the receiver wasnt milled correctly, so it ddint feed. They replaced it, though, and that gun ran fine, was as accurate as any fal. Its the one he still has. The guns i built all ran fine and were as accurate as any.
So, the big question is really if it is put together right. Their receivers are ok. Yes, dsa is better, so is imbel.

Here's one of my favorites. FMAP receiver on matching nos argy kit. I was actually able to track down a real argentine "swoopy" wood stock. Not easy to find.

My only fal in the past decade. Picked this one up the other day. Hadn't given them any thought. This one just lept into my arms and wouldn't let go.
