    What's your HD/SD reticle preference?

Thought about putting this in the optics section. But, my interest isn't really about specific brands/models of sighting system. Absent all other factors, what is everyone's prefered reticle type for SD/HD?

In order to mitigate the chance that some might not feel this is a straightforward enough question, I'll add two items for consideration.

    1) I know for some, SD might include medium-range distances. For all intents and purposes, SD/HD in this context would be anything close quarters.

    2) With the plethora of reticles that exist, I'll simplify this into two categories. A small single dot, and anything that's not a single dot. For broad strokes purposes, think Aimpoint vs Eotech style.

Small single dot works best for me hands down
I've used both styles in the field and for fast accurate shot placement give me the single dot

Personally prefer the single dot for this criteria.

I want a two dot system. When the top dot is zeroed for 200 yards, the bottom dot is set for 25 yards or so. That way I don't have to worry about offset

A single dot (Aimpoint) with a 50/200 covers any HD/SD situation I could imagine
