There are so many options. I've had the pleasure of using a great deal of it and I still think Leupold D-EVO with a red dot is the best for that application. If you are on a budget, it will come down to how far out you want to touch. 200M and closer, I would just go with a quality red dot. Anything further, a 1-6 with bdc dial &/or Christmas mil like Horus. And we never even discussed any night time applications.... but, once again more $. Good luck!

Post hunting season update:
Met a guy on Texas Bowhunter who has a 100 yd range behind his house.
He laser bore sighted my rifle for me than we got it at 100 yds.
Of the 4 brands we tested, American Eagle seemed to group the best, all I had was FMJ. We switched back to ARMSCOR cause I had already bought 60 rds of VMax.
I had a good season with it.
I got 4 deer and 2 pigs.
My longest shot was roughly 75 yds from a ground blind.
My buddy used it to shoot 2 turkeys at 220 yds. Both was head shots. Took 5 rounds. They wouldn't stand still
I used the Tapco magazine I labeled 1, we experienced 0 issues.
The Tapco magazine I labeled 2 I gave away to a guy on Texas Bowhunter. I had also started a similar thread there. I posted a link to that thread when I gave it away. Some members gave me grief about giving away a bad magazine. Which I totally understood.
I've read it could be a simple issue such as a spring or follower. I chose not to mess with it.
I've purchased 4 P-Mags all gen 2 non window. Just can't seem to get myself to take them out of the pkg
I've kept the Nikon scope on it for now. I'm thinking of changing it up or building new. I'm wanting a 300BO SBR with a suppressor and Night Vision Scope. Looking at maybe the ATN or Photon.
I'd love a thermal, my budget doesn't allow for that.
Thanks again for ALL of your help!

Head shooting turkeys at 220 yards is an incredible feat.

I can't read 3 pages of this but I feel for the OP because he needs help but it sucks he hasn't a clue before buying or post buying his firearm.
After I read zeroing off hand I had to stop.
Then the shooting Turkeys at 220 yards finished me
