im late to the party.. read that they are shipping out in 2 week increments. This or wait to see more of the mpx..

I bought one of these lowers when they first started making them and I have been nothing but happy with it. The only problem I had was the mags wouldn't hold the bolt open. I traced that to a bolt catch spring that was to strong. Comparing it to my Colt showed it was to long. I snipped a coil and it has been nothing but reliable.

One day I'll SBR it.

I too am looking forward to the MPX but more so professionaly than personaly. The controls are similar but with the AR pistol type you have cheaper mags and better part support. My DDLES ran me $700 all told. A bargain when you look at the MSRP of the MPX.

Yes, mainly in the rear of the receiver. If you search the interwebs you'll see pics comparing the two.

DDLES 9MM AR SBR...



DDLES Colt Pattern 9MM AR Lower, YHM 9MM Upper, YHM Carbine rail, CMMG Bolt, 5.5" heavy barrel. Plus some other stuff. Still in need of sights / etc and the CASTLE NUT ISN'T STAKED, I know because I want a better castle nut and sling attachment.

Enjoy, should be lots of fun with the Tirant 45 when I get it in 2 months or so...

I'm really liking this lower! I'm stocking up on Colt 32 rd mags right now. The asshats that think they run my state have laws that will prevent from doing so after July 1st. So mags first, then the build(s) will follow.

I've read that the vltor MUR can have issues accepting magazines other than colt 9mm magazines (no c products or other)....can anyone confirm or debunk this?
