I'm interested in the coating and the rail looks nice. Disappointing that it uses a diff barrel nut though.
I was surprised they didn't announce rails in AlLi

New coating sounds perfect for mp5 mags.

Yep. Doesn't look as beefy (i.e. bombproof) as the MK4/8. Different barrel nut. No m-lok slots on the 45s... I could not care less about losing an ounce or two. If it had used the same barrel nut, retained the 45 slots, and used the new profile they would've had a winner. As it is, I'll be looking at other options. Too bad MK8s don't come in 10.75" and 11.75" lengths...

MK13 rail is a swing and a miss
It appears the barrel nut got shorter = more rail squirm
No 45 degree mounting slots.
Retarded picatinny rail on the ends.

And I don't need a coating that can last 400k rounds.
That is the life cycle of 20 regular AR-15 rifles.

Jstalford and Kenneth, thanks for the clarification. Now do you think there's any chance they'll make it for a large pin receiver? I know it's never going to happen, but I keep waiting to hear that they've come out with a large pin ACT trigger.
I know, "just build another lower." But then what do I do with this lower? Build another upper to go with it and then I'm right back to where I started so I guess I'll just keep hoping that someone is reading this and takes pity on the guy who took a dump in this thread.
