    Lightweight Fix Magnification Scope

Looking for something a lot lighter than my Primary Arms 1-6x Gen 2 scope. It made my rifle pretty darn top heavy.

I would prefer a lit scope but my priorities are:

    1. Rugged/Won't lose zero
    2. Weight & Size
    3. Generous Eye Relief and Eye Box
    4. Red dot

Sorry, I meant fixed magnification that's 3-4x and also meets those criteria.

Sounds like a Trijicon TA33 mini ACOG would fit the bill quite nicely.

If you can make BAC (Bindon Aiming Concept) work for you, the TA33 is pretty fast up close and the 3x definitely helps at a distance. And they don't come much lighter.

I am running a Leupold VXR Patrol on an AP ultralight mount. Total weight 14 3/4 OZ and its 1X4. For comparison an AimPoint PRO on Bobro QD weighs 12 OZ.

I think I might give that Leopold a try. It seems like it's half the price but you get 4x with the option for 1.5x and still maintain the same weight. Eye relief I guess would probably be a lot better on the Trijicon.

    TA33 for the reasons cited.

just bough a used TA-33 while eye relief is not as generous as a variable on lowest setting it is a lot better than the first gen ACOG's that you could dust of the lens with your eyelashes you had to be so close . nice that I don't need batteries and with a AD b2 mount it weighs 9.5 ounces

For the value I like the primary arms prismatic fixed 3x or 4x scopes. I have some astigmatism and the red dot always look slightly smeared. The prismatic fixed scope has the reticle etched in glass and is then illuminated. A new 1x is the Burris AR1x (I think that's the right model) new from shot show 2015.
