You and a lot of other people. This is why one of the two malls in Huntsville currently looks like this:

So, what's next then? Why does this bother me, as I only go to a mall now when dragged kicking and screaming by my wife... (not often)

You know all of those plate scanners and traffic cameras... Is it just me, or do I see this technology being placed up there, right next to the facial recognition scanners... Not a problem in my A/O as it's a very pro 2nd amendment state, but our friends still unlucky enough to live in places like NY, NJ, VT, MA, IL and CA could really be harassed by this... Just thinking aloud.

Guess I need to embrace the suck as there is no expectation of privacy in a public place.

If they put them in malls, they will put them in Wal-Marts, grocery stores, gas stations, city parks, flea markets, etc.

The goal is to make carrying a firearm like smoking: not to be done in public.

This is the new battle for us: we have to start right now shutting this down completely and permanently.

I suggest if you live in a city where these sensors are being installed, that you inundate the managers and owners of that shopping mall with as many letters, emails, calls of opposition as you can organize.

Mall? What's that? I do nearly all my shopping on Amazon while lying in my bed in my boxers.

Keep Calm, apply an EMF shield to your cover garment, and Carry On.

What are these "malls" you speak of? I do my shopping at Amazon--the 21st century version of the Pacific cargo cults.

That is why it is AI, it is supposed to learn (don't know the feedback loop) where the guns are. Im sure that they will claim that it can detect countermeasures. These are same as the tech used in the scanners at the airport, just in the open, right?

All it takes is someone to hack the units a put out all the mall MILFs nekkid pics and this won't last long.

Do you and your significant others buy all of your clothing and footwear online? If not then you may want to rethink the "it doesn't affect me" mentality. Just sayin'
