He knows it's not a copy cat attack of Charlottesville. He knows there have been numerous car-born terror attacks in Europe over the past few years. He ALSO knows the majority of viewers watching CNN this week most likely DON'T and I repeat DON'T know this, or have already forgotten. He's making a talking point, he wants people to somehow associate all forms of terror with white nationalist here in the US.

At work I heard a female coworker bring up this attack, and I heard her male counterpart exclaim, "Wow. I didn't think Europe had a white supremacy problem like we have had in the USA"

I politely reminded him of the role white Nazis played in the slaughter of 6 million Europeans and ISIS' current responsibility for such attacks. It's nice being around people without a clue - it gives you a chance to educate them.
