They are beyond gorgeous rifles.
Not really feeling the look. Also, $2350 for a 4 lb carbine? There's a whole "Under 6lb" thread on ARFCOM where the majority have spent a 1/5 of that price putting together theirs.
That they are. Which is awesome, except for the fact that they're taking the AX556 out of the lineup for now, have no timeline for offering a stripped matching upper for the AX556 (not that I give a shit, I'd rather use the MUR anyway, but lots of the guys that own AX556es seem unhappy), and have put the AX762 on the backburner. Disappointing stuff, IMO; a beautiful AR is cool and all, but there are lots of them out there, so I'm not really digging their current decisions.
These things can really shoot. Saw first hand the accuracy they are capable of, and it was very impressive.
Crossing the Noobicon
Did HK say anything about making a civilian variant of the A5 in the MR line?
“The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."
Cannot speak for the US market of course, but both the MR223A3 and the MR308A3 have been for sale here in Europe, and have all the new ambi features.
Cannot see why the MR556A3 and MR762A3 won't become available for you guys.
It's not about surviving, it's about winning!
Thats for the Post. Awesome Pics. SMGlee. Who did the grip texture on your VP9?
They said the rifles are going to be priced at about $2850. Owners of AX556 lowers are supposed to be able to buy complete uppers, but I haven't seen pricing on just the uppers yet. Looking forward to getting one.
