.22 Caliber converters.

Larry, what are your thoughts regarding the usefullness and purpose of .22 caliber converters for the top self defense pistol choices. Advantage Arms and the .22 Smith and Wesson M&P immediately come to mind.

As long as the trigger pull is the same you will be fine - even if the sights are a little different that is no big deal

Thanks for your input LAV, would you advocate the use of dedicated .22 cal uppers due to having the same trigger pull, or something like the m&p15-22 that has a different trigger pull, but more similar controls?
