DoubleStar 1911

What is the story on 1911's made by DoubleStar Corporation?

I saw one of the pistols for sale on Auction Arms, selling as 'Factory New' but DoubleStar's website has nothing but AR15's on it.

Did DS make these guns 'once upon a time' and then quit?

Any information is appreciated.
