dawson precicion tool less guide rod

does anyone run one of these or know how reliable they are?

I've heard good reviews but i dont have one myself. Thought about putting one in my TRP Operator but then I realized it really doesn't bother me too much to use a paper clip. If you end up getting one let us know how it works out.

i was considering for my trp operator too. after seeing this video... im sold, if its reliable.

What are the benefits over just a regular GI recoil spring guide?

I could be worried about nothing but I would just be a little concerned that the lever that keeps the spring under pressure would actuate when I didn't want it to. That would suck.

It not for traditional barrel and bushing but rather for guns with a cone barrel a FL guide rod. I have an old Kimber Compact like this.
