SureFire M75 mount for G2L?

Anyone know whether or not the SureFire M75 mount (the one that comes with the Scout Light) will work with a G2L flashlight? I'm trying to mount a G2L at 3 o'clock.

I'm pretty sure you need the correct body assembly to go with that mount.

A sturdy 1" ring will do, that's how most people run the G2 (or any handheld) setup. I'm sure others have suggestions as to which the beefiest is

The Surefire M79 mount will work, and Grant at G&R has them for like $38. It's a pretty neat mount. You can quick release the light from the mount without having to remove the mount from the weapon.

Thanks for the replies. I'll be able to answer my own question in short order: I picked up a NIB Scout Light for a good price on eBay. I'll post what I find out.
