take our guns
I have been saying this for years, and we better take note. The could be bad news for all. And why I buy all I can when I can.

Holy shit. Amazing what the idle liberal mind can come up with. Those folks got a nice message from me.
Not that it really matters, but would an individual selling ammo to a friend be considered a "vendor" under this new garbage legislation?

There is a level of hell where every politician must chew and swallow every written POS legislation he's tried to enact.
Well maybe not...but there should be.

A copy of my humble letter to them. What does it accomplish? Well, I am not sure. Maybe we can get one to wake up and defect, or perhaps even better get one to become a saboteur?
While you are likely trying to do the right thing, you are looking to make a simple exchange of ammunition a criminal offense. This utterly absurd idea reflects the fear generated by the dysfunctional behavior of many in the inner cities and other criminals nationwide, those of which have no respect for laws or consequences. Today's liberal culture advocates MTV and all the garbage it spills on our youth and clueless adults, then half heartedly frowns upon the consequences of it's advocated actions. Then, maybe even worse, you/they bypass the out of control culture and focus on an inanimate object that does nothing but get used by the demented individual. This is simple minded thinking at it's worst, and that is what you are all about. I must therefore reluctantly offer you my congratulations on being brainless, lazy idiots. You will ignore the real problem because it is far too difficult for you to deal with, therefore your cause is unjust and misguided.
That said, I hope you have a good evening.

I guess these legislators forget that a firearm is used 55x more to stop crime then to commit crime (John Lott More Guns Less Crime). Oh, wait, they don't read real facts or data, nor do I believe they have the mental capacity to comprehend such complex philosophical matters like truth and reality (facetious tone intended).
Or maybe they do have a sense of reality and the implications of armed citizenry, and that is why they are always after a sinister path to the destruction of the firearms industry in America: remember the OSHA disaster we narrowly averted in summer of 2007 (of which I had a role in helping to avert) and the constant BATFE "fishing" ploys, the latest of which involved Cavalry Arms in Gilbert, AZ (of which I have first hand knowledge of, and it did also made national news).
The proverbial "They" will find all the sneaky back doors "They" can. Brick by Brick things such as these are taking down the mighty house that was once America.
Will we let it happen?

I've seen that website before, but this is the first time I've seen them actively lobbying.
If a Democrat governor gets elected in TX then even the South is screwed.

folks, i have been fighting this incrementalism for over 50 years, just look at where we are due to, "we just want you to stop smoking on airplanes", approximately 30 years ago, apply that same logic to guns and ammo, "if we just stop the buying of guns by mail order...", that kicked off the 1968 gun control act, check it out and bookmark it for reference

Old NavyGuy--You are correct. It's a chip away at your freedoms. First no smoking on airplanes, now in Ohio you can about only smoke in your house. Pretty soon that will be not allowed because it will hurt your kids. Not that smoking is good, but they will always want more.

The mindset of the gun control group
How do you eat an elephant?
One little bite at a time.
That is their agenda and that is how they will eventually succeed in consuming the 'whole elephant'.
We are the elephant . . and we have to feel and react to each and every little bite they try and take.
If not, our children's children will only experience guns by visiting a museum where they will be able to view an elephant skeleton.
Do we want to be a skeleton . . . or a whole elephant . . . the choice is ours.
