Question for Stag Arms Experts

I was at the gun show today and spotted a Stag Arms complete lower with collapsible stock. What struck me as odd was that the hammer didn't have the notch I was used to seeing on the top front side. I asked the dealer if the lower was factory assembled with all Stag parts and he said yes.

As soon as I got home I opened up the safe and got out all three of my Stag lowered guns and inspected the hammers. Indeed all had the hammer notch I thought all Stags were supposed to have.

So my question is, did Stag change hammers or did the dealer put the lower together with non-Stag parts?

Good question........best bet would be to contact Stag to see if their hammers are offered without the notch.

Call Stag and give them the serial number and they will tell you if it was an assembled or stripped lower.
