Night-sights..rear sight?

OKay, I have heard a lot bad about them (ruins NV, distracting, useless, on and on). Anyways, I am ordering a Meprolight FSP tomorrow and am curious how many people agree with the popular sentiment on the rear aperature.

You only need the front one, as you can't see the rear tritium when you're focused on the front sight while aiming.
