LMT M4 16" upper questions

Im looking to upgrade my older 2000 model Armalite M15A2 rifle to a M4 style upper.According to Armalite they have none planned to be built anytime soon so Im looking.Yeah I was one of those Armalite fans.

Im done fooling around,so I want a complete upper to go on my Armalite M15 lower that Im not going to have to rework as I use it...so Im looking to spend some money.I spend alot of time at the range and the rifles see alot of use in 3 guns etc. so I want the best upper I can get for this lower. No bells and whistles just a standard U.S.G.I. M4 style upper that is durable and dependable.

The one upper that keeps coming up as top shelf is the LMT M4 16".But it seems the fine details are not listed on the LMT website.Any details and specs that can be given would really help.

I had a few direct questions that maybe someone here can answer for me.

Is it worth the extra money to go ahead and get the S/A enhanced bolt and carrier?

Does LMT shot peen and MPI the enhanced S/A carrier and bolt?

Are the standard LMT S/A bolts and carriers MPI and shot peened?

Does LMT carriers have the hooded firing pin?

Is the FSB correct?

Should I expect any fit/function issues with the LMT upper on my Armalite lower?

Fill me in on anything else you can think of.Im sure Ive missed alot.
Im looking to order an upper monday morning(cant stand a down weapon and have a match coming up) so I need some help and feed back fast fella's.

I appreciate all the help folks.

There are lots of options, but if your initial inclinationw as to stay with Armalite, try contacting this Aramlite dealer. He may have some uppers available.

LMT/Sabre Defense/Charles Daly come to mind for some product that may be available Monday.

LMT uppers are great ,but The BCM M4 uppers are IMHO better (I own both LMT and BCM) you can pick one up now at Bravo or from C4Grant . you better hurry they will be gone in a flash . the BCM m16 BCG is also tops .

You won't be disappointed with the LMT upper. I got one in from Grant last week and shot it over the weekend. I put it on a Stag factory lower. It shot great, looks great, and so far appears to be top notch all the way around.

I hope so.Ive been fighting that .223 Rem (tight)chambered Armalite upper for eight years. The LMT upper should put the Armalite lower to a functional rifle finally..
