2009 Vickers Tactical South Hill Schedule
2009 Vickers Tactical South Hill Schedule.
3-Day Level 1 Pistol/Carbine Class (02/06/2009 - 02/08/2009) - Completed
3-Day Private Class (03/06/2009 - 03/08/2009) - Completed
2-Day AK Operators Class (05/30/2009 - 05/31/2009) - Completed
2-Day 1911 Operators Class (06/06/2009 - 06/07/2009) - Completed
3-Day Pistol/Carbine Level II Class (10/23/2009 - 10/25/2009) - Still open for enrollment.
Unfortunately, the T.V. show filming forced the cancellation of four more classes this year.
Details/Class Description/Dates/ETC – TBD
Each class will get its own thread once the 2008 classes get completed and cleared out. In the mean time feel free to discuss the 2009 schedule in this thread.
I figured some guys might appreciate the early heads up for 2009.

I'm definitely in for the 1911 operator's course. I've been wanting in that for a long time.
I'm also (hopefully) in for the Vickers/Hackathorn class. The time frames of the two low light I classes I've attended (May of this year, November of last year) have worked out good for me.
I would also love to take Pistol II, but unfortunately that's the one weekend a year I absolutely cannot take off.
In general I MUCH prefer pistol training to carbine training simply because the handgun is going to be my primary weapon for most any situation.

Man; looks like I'm going to be spending some serious time up in VA next year. Good thing my beautiful traveling companion enjoyed herself last time.

Since these classes are so close to the house I'm going to be in for a couple of them next year.
(1.) 3-Day Level 1 Pistol/Carbine Class (02/07/2009 - 02/08/2009)
Is this suppose to be a two day or three day?
Thanks

She *enjoyed* watching us ugly bastards sweat all day?
Dude, you need to marry her. Any woman who will put up with that sort of nonsense (and your t-shirts) is a keeper.

I agree 100%. Except I can get to the pistol II class. Could you be my twin brother from the South?

Three day (February 6-8, 2009)
I had a typo in my dates, but it is corrected now.

Good God, I hope not.
One of me in this world is enough to annoy even ME. I can't imagine two of me walking the earth....that's just scary.

I can see I am going to bankrupt myself next year.
I am down for number 3,6, and 7 at a minimum.

I'm waaaay ahead of you Mike.
I'm too ugly to star in a gay porno flick to pay for these classes, so I have to do it the old fashioned way. Bestiality films.
Not to mention my cookie jar (as far as the missus goes) is empty. Depleted. Dusty.
Boy is she gonna kill me.

No, that is a level 1 class.
One day of 1911 specific shooting instruction and one day of 1911 shop / maintenance instruction.

Most certainly.
At least in a few of them. Which one's is up to the FN reps who participate.
